A pretty cool pen!

Went to Disney. Decided to buy an autograph book and got my friends to sign it. (Didn't do it on my last day). Realized I don't have a pen. So I looked around for a nice but fun pen to use. Until I found this:

It's it spiffy?!?!? It is a dagger that writes in red ink.... like BLOOD! :-)

Went to Disney Today!

It was so nice to see all of my friends... but I'll post more later. Here is a video... it will be my first blog video! Wanted to give it a try.

HHmmm..

It looks like they are really trying to get kids into scrapbooking....

A few more things

I just recently bought a pen at Michaels by Martha Stewart. I must say, it writes pretty decent. So, I'll add that to my wish list. Martha Stewart's Pen Set.... but double check to make sure the pens are the ones like the thin sharpie, not the felt kind (the regular sharpie).

Basic Grey Mini Album using Figgy Pudding (Scrap Expo Class) Part 1

Here you go! :-) I had to substitute the ribbon from the actual project. I came home to find my kit did not come with the ribbons. Try to contact the company that ran the class, and they did not e-mail me back!! Ggrr....

Basic Grey Mini Album using Figgy Pudding (Scrap Expo Class) Part 3

This is the last two pages of the mini-album.

<--- The red ribbon flowers was just an add one by me. :-) I thought it could balance out the red flowers on the right side of the page. One the ride side are some rub-ons. We took one long rub-on design and cut it in half.

A box waiting for me at home...

I went to an all day crop at the Red Bee, hosted by Crops 2 Remember. I had fun. As for completing my projects.... I think a barely made a scratch... Doh! I was working on my Santa's butt crack card and that took me a while! And it is still not finish! Doh! Let see.... there were two make and takes, Designs and Such & Kits 2 Remember. For Designs and Such, we made a cute holiday mini-album. Each letter was a page. For Kits 2 Remember, we made a mini-acrylic album. There was a cute home decor on displayed (created by Jessica). I think I will make something like it.... now to remember if I have any 12x12 acrylics... For lunch, we had Togos (ew). So I went to a Los Contijas (Mexican food) and bought some carne asada and rice (yum!). I took my sandwich home and gave it to Linda. For dinner, we had some pizza. Also, Red Bee gave us 20% off out total purchase. :-)

So.... like my title had originally stated, I came home to a box. In it was my memory frames and glass! YaY! I can now work on my ornaments. I bought them at Paper Wishes online. It took me a couple of weeks to find them.

Just realized it...

One of the pages from the album below, with the scallops and a chipboard flower looks funny... well, the journaling part looks funny. The flower is covering a few words! So next time... chipboard first, journal last. :-P

Creative Garden....part 2 (scroll down for part 1)

Left side --> pic
right side --> Glue tag...ribbon...cut scallop chipboard....paint....glue gem

Left side --> use pipe cleaners to make scallop....paint flower chipboard...put brad through Prima flower and glue

The last page --> She only had pattern paper on it.... but I decided to use my thickers and spelled "ME"...

In conclusion... you should have one extra chipboard page... I decided to take it out, but you can keep it in.

CKU Class: Michelle's Creative Garden (Part 1)

Ok... this is the first half. Sorry if it is confusing... Blogger would allow only so much pics to load in a single blog. Plus I don't feel like waiting for the pics to load up.

I took this class at CKU-Anaheim 2007. I like Michelle and I like her ideas....but we only received a black and white picture of her project... so I had to guess. Here are my instructions! :-P

Ok... paint the chip board pink....glue buttons on it....tie ribbons around the spine.... cover the cover with pattern paper.

Paint tag chipboard white, stamp bird (Martha Stewart's stamp), glue gem on eye and glue chipboard to chipboard page. (I actually decided to use stickers from my own stash to put my name below the bird) <-- EK Success alpha stickers.

Take flower and fold it in half...then fold it again. Do it again with another flower. The two flowers become wings! Take a flower chipboard, paint it (if you like) and cover with glitter. Use pipe cleaner as its' antanae.

Right side of book --> She had the chipboard and button on the lower right of pic, but it would be sitting on my boobs, so I put it on the upper left. (Whatever floats your boat)

Right side --> pic
Left side --> glue tag on chipboard...doodle dashes to look like you sewn it...glue flower and put gems on the flower...glue diamond chipboard (strip that was cut down) and glue gem in the middle of diamonds.

Left side --> glue metal heart (frame?) down (I used pop dots) and glue flower on top.
Right side --> pic

Tee-Hee

Just a card I made. Plus I really wanted to use the new Martha Stewart punch. :-P

Sunday...

I must say.... when it comes to loading pictures, Blogger has been doing it pretty quick! I think they updated their server or something.... Let see what we have here....

My Tamagotchi finally lived long enough to have a baby! I had one that turned old before I forgot about it and it died. It turns out that by age 10, a matchmaker comes at a certain time and you have to catch her at the right time. She then matches you up with someone and there you go! This is Bob and her baby Bob! (there was no function for numbers, so I just used the exclamation mark).

Got this at Michael's today. It was part of the new Martha Steward's X-mas line. The punch is really pretty! It embosses too! I plan on using it on a card.

My latest layout. The numerous "no" has to do with the fact that at the OC fair, Phillip wanted to go on a ride. He soon realized that it went up so high that he ran off crying. Linda had her camera and took a picture at the right time! :-) That is me, I had his hand and he ran off dragging me. We tried talking him into going but he wouldn't go.

Found this on the Freckled Friends website. I went to their Scrap Pink Crop. It was small but great!

Just a project

Wanted to load a project I did....Obviously the papers don't match... but I went with people's personality.

Rusty Pickle's Class

The projects were from their "Blooms" class and "I Have..." class. The concept of "I Have..." is numbers in our life. I like it. The mini-album is cute. I didn't like really "Blooms". I don't know what pictures to use. I hated using the burlap.

Stupid people!

What is with people when it comes to my car? What is with people when it comes to the road? Several weeks ago, my car got keyed at a wedding reception. At the Ontario expo, some lady pulls up and opens her door wide and hits my car. Linda said she said sorry, but I didn't hear it. You need to apologize to the owner! Today, as I hop on the 5 freeway this morning, some guy on the motorcycle throws something over his shoulder and hits my car. It looked white and plastic to me. Linda (who just happens to be in her car next to me) believed it was a cigarette butt (?). Grr... I still need to get the scratch out. It makes me so angry each time I go to my car and see it!

I need to get my wheels aligned... joy. Feels like my starter is acting up... grr...
