This year we went to Ren Faire with our friends JP and Jess. They were Ren Faire Virgins :-P I didn't dress up. My costume was in storage and I didn't feel like getting it out. I had a nice corset-like top. So, close enough. We went in the afternoon because we wanted to catch the Moonie and Broon adult show. Every year, we would try and catch the show, but would get really tired and go home early. This time, we did not go early.
Hunny conquering the giant with one arm. Love my buff Hunny.
My doctor ordered some blood work to see what issues I had.... BTW according to the results, I am allergic to dust mites and egg whites....
So the lady tried to find a vein in my left arm... or elbow pit... and she stabbed me! No blood came out.. so she pulled out the needle and jabbed me again. No blood... so she takes out the needle, that's when blood started coming out. So she decides to try my right forearm... where once again, she stabs me. And once again, nothing comes out, so she takes out the needle and jabbed me.. again! Finally blood started to come out... slowly.... ack, painful!
Just have been busy with life. But things will hopefully settle down soon... One less job.... I can scrap a little more and possibly blog a little more! *shock*
Hubby and I went to San Fran. to visit his brother. Of course, we had to do the Pho Challege. Where we had to eat 2lbs of meat and 2lbs of noodles in less than an hour... I thought I was able to do it... yea right! Maybe next time. I barely made a dent. Hunny at a lot of it... but we both failed. NEXT TIME!
I have never tried to be on a design team... well going to give it a try! :-) Just posting some layouts... some are ones that I have recently made. *shock!* I know...
but I am so ready for spring already!!!! It was rainy... and super windy today. My shift was canceled (woohoo!). So my Hunny and I went to Medieval Times (buy one get one free deal). It was ok... Just had to get out and do something. Wanted to go to El Dorado Park... but rain... Still going at it with the cleaning and organizing and stuff.... eventually I will have layouts! Well... then again I am going to an all day crop this coming Sat.... so I may have pics of actual work! (that is I don't get too distracted, and I actually bring stuff to work on).
I was able to attend CHA-Winter at the LA Convention Center. I was volunteering for Scrapbook Royalty. So if you were doing that online CHA event, that was me walking around with the computer/camera (all day Sat). There were a lot of neat stuff... plus I got a lot of neat goodies :-P (plus love the fact that I can now post a lot of pics on blogger!)
I begged for the Cricut plush! :-P That purple thing is a scissor holster, so nifty!
Graphic 45 booth
Forgot where I got this.. must be Unity Stamp. but a cute greeting card holder.
Love Maya Road!!!
More Maya goodness
This was really cute, it was on the cover of a canvas album.
So Die Cut with a View had the most.. MOST!!!! Amazing booth. They had dresses, made completely from paper. This was my favorite dress.
Also my favorite...
Love the train on this one.
cute kids dress
So I took a close-up pic to show you that it was made from paper and border punch.
Might have to make something like this myself... kind've remind me of the daily doilies by Christine Middlecamp.
Sideways... but it's a Tim Holtz style tray
And Tim's booth.Saw Tim, but did not have time to chit chat with him... nor watch him design, oh well! :-)
I finally found some time to sit down and update my blog. As stated in my previous post, I was getting married... that was it. To start from the beginning.
My Handsome Hunny proposed on New Years Eve.
We were hanging out at Downtown Fullerton for Fullerton's First Night. I have always heard about it, never seen it. So we decided to check it out. We went and saw Tron to kill time. Which was a pretty good movie. Even though I never saw the first one. Then we went to Heroes for snacks and drinks. Afterwards, we went to the area where they were shooting fireworks. Hunny kept kissing me and loving me... a lot more than usual. When it got close to count down, he shouted out to the world to witness the event and that he loves me. Then he got down on his knees and proposed, using a Hello Kitty box to hide the ring :-P A person happened to be there and record the event. I was floating on air that night.
Lots of issues regarding family happened... I lived in Corona for a while. Not a bad city... but hated the freeway!!!! ICK!!!
I went to two different bridal show and was overwhelmed.... well mainly at the prices!!!!! I swear I went into the wrong profession. I went to the first show by myself and the second show with my two friends Mina and Swathi.
Once we decided on a date (Feb 10, our 11th anniversary(, I went dress shopping immediately... as well as planning, etc.
The first dress I tried on... and the one I chose. At first it was plain until the lady added the red sash.
Second dress I tried on. Pretty but didn't have my size.
Third dress... notice how I wasn't too thrilled with it?
The wedding was beautiful. I would like a big wedding... but realized, I love my wedding, the way it was. My friend JP took pictures and put together a beautiful slide show.
The day before, there were Santa Ana Wind... but in the end it was ok. The weather was perfect. My friend Narcee did my hair and make-up. I am now a Mrs. :-)
Have a lot of personal issues going on right now. Will start goal a little later. However I have started Project 365 by taking pictures everyday. Some news to share later.
