Shopping Day!

Went shopping today. Used all of the gift cards I got for X-mas (Strictly, Tall Mouse and Michaels). Bought a lot of useful things! Papers....can't get enough of those...bling swirly....Fiskar's stamp press (been eying it ever since I saw Cheryl demo it at Scrap Pink) ....Making Memories plastic jars (thought about getting the lazy susan's drawer thingy, but it is pretty huge!)....some embellishments.....texture starter kit for my Big Kicks (can't wait to give it a try!). Yep.....

Want to scrap...

But it is way too cold in the scrap room. I ought to get a portable heater. :-P

When the winds blows...it really blows!

The wind blew hard overnight... well not as hard as the previous one... But there is tree bark everywhere... a tree came down in Sherman Oaks (?)...

The day after Christmas...

Went shopping today....well more like exchanging a few items....it was pretty busy at the mall!!! It wasn't busy on the 23rd or the 24th...but today, it is busy! Went to Target and it was busy there too! Majority of the store was either on sale or clearance. Everywhere I went, I had to stand in line! Lines! Lines! Lines!

It got pretty windy here around 6ish.

We went to Seafood Cove for dinner (Chinese restaurant). I know I am allergic to seafood... but I said screw it! I want seafood... several hours later, I feel my upper lips going numb.... doh!

Forgot to add that I got a cute teacher's charm bracelet.

To sum it up...

I received a lot of gift cards this year.... me like gift cards (3 for scrapbooking and one for Macys)....I got three different versions of Uno (Hairspray, Shrek, and Sesame Street [which Linda said she took away from an old lady]). Got Desperate Housewives 3 (YaY!)...Tamagotchi 4.5.....Several Hello Kitty shirts (one is too small... but I'll send it to Tammy).... Hello Kitty Jacket....A box set of musicals....necklace and earing set.... the Big Shot (awesome! I can now use the big dies! will donate old one to boys and girls club)

Went and saw Sweeny Todd. Very suspenseful, gory, but I like it! Went out as a family to eat dinner (shock!)

The new Creating Keepsakes came in the mail... it is ok so far

I missed the Hollywood Christmas parade! Unless they didn't do it this year. Wake up and wanted to see the fake fireplace on channel 9 and it wasn't on! hhmm...

Also the stores are getting ready for Valentines!!!!!!!!! ACK!!!!

Time is running out!

Ack! I still have a lot more to finish.... and time is running out! AAHHH!!!!

Jungle Mini-Album

This is a Jungle Cruise mini album I made. The front and back cover is acrylic. I used the Bind-It-All. Every page contain jokes from the attraction. Just a keepsake for me. :-)

Cricut Design Studio

At the Cricut website, I downloaded the trial version of the program. YaY! So far, I like it! Above is what I did with my Cricut. My first cut! :-) Of course, the trial version only allows you to cut using the George Cartridge. So, I took one of the flower, stretched it out and put my name on it. I like it!
