I was reading another scrapbooker's blog and she wrote about remembering her first time scrapbooking... I thought to myself, hey, I will do the same thing! :-P
The very first time I did something that is somewhat similar to scrapbooking was when I was young... don't know when. I took a whole bunch of 8.5x11 papers and folded the papers in half to make a book. Then I took my pictures and I glued them down. WITH WHITE GLUE!!! Ack! I wish I never did that.
Next up was junior high. I glued pictures on pretty 8.5x11 paper and I put the pages in page protectors. Then, the pages went into a binder. Didn't do any journaling...
I believe it was my sophomore or junior year, I made a scrapbook for the speech and debate team. Traditionally, they would take the pictures and put them in a poster collage. I thought it was ugly. Mr. Huffered (my debate coach) bought me a scrapbook (9x14 ?), some decorative scissors, and some gel pens.
Now, here I am today.
