Bought the new circle cutter at Michaels today. I can't remember the price...but I used my coupon! :-P The circle cutter can cut a 4 inch circle to 12 inches at 1/8 increment.
The center is used to store extra blade. I love the fact that the blade cover is bigger and easier to handle. Notice the big plastic circle? Before, it didn't not have that. Once I sliced my finger because it fell off and I didn't notice it. So the big circle tells me that the safety cover is on.
The knob with the blade sits locked and covered. You pull the knob up to adjust the size of the circle (took me forever to figure that out... didn't read the instructions :-P) The arm of the ruler contains fuzz on the bottom (reminds me of a brush).
You turn your know and there you have it! I highly recomend a glass mat. Cuts smooter. I have two! :-P
