Cropping @ the Oasis

A couple of LOs I completed:
hhmm.... the people on the bottom right looks like aliens.... hhmm...
This is one of two LOs they gave us for the crop, didn't it come out cute? The ruffles came from Michelle Hill's idea.
This is an acyrlic LO I did for my Hunny's Granny.

For lunch, we had Flame Broiler.... not bad, the veggies weren't soggie. :-) For dinner, we had pizza.... ew greasy! I had pizza for the past three days and I'm pretty much sick of it. I won a set of papers from Fancy Pants. Someone at my table won the Making Memory's apron. She didn't want it, and I did. So I traded the papers for the apron. Now, I have a new art apron! :-) Later on, our table won some papers from Black Market. Black Market is a new company.

Getting ready for the crop

Manana, I am going to a crop at the Oasis. It is the CHA preview party crop. My favorite crop, besides the ones for charity. I plan on working on my CKU album and more layouts. So, I am pretty excited! :-)

Discrimination Still Exists!

Once again discrimination rears it's ugly head....
...Will it never end?

I wuv Hello Kitty

I bought this at Target today.... along with a Hello Kitty Folder, and two Hello Kitty note books. :-) This little one will be for my online scrapbook class from Big Pictures Scrapbooking. I decided to take a class on journaling because I need to do more journaling on my scrapbook pages.

When I first started scrapbooking....

I was reading another scrapbooker's blog and she wrote about remembering her first time scrapbooking... I thought to myself, hey, I will do the same thing! :-P

The very first time I did something that is somewhat similar to scrapbooking was when I was young... don't know when. I took a whole bunch of 8.5x11 papers and folded the papers in half to make a book. Then I took my pictures and I glued them down. WITH WHITE GLUE!!! Ack! I wish I never did that.

Next up was junior high. I glued pictures on pretty 8.5x11 paper and I put the pages in page protectors. Then, the pages went into a binder. Didn't do any journaling...

I believe it was my sophomore or junior year, I made a scrapbook for the speech and debate team. Traditionally, they would take the pictures and put them in a poster collage. I thought it was ugly. Mr. Huffered (my debate coach) bought me a scrapbook (9x14 ?), some decorative scissors, and some gel pens.

Now, here I am today.

Good vs. Well

The general rule with good and well is that well is an adverb and good is an adjective. What this means is that well modifies verbs, adjectives and other adverbs and good modifies nouns.

TeeHee *I feel wuv*

Me Hunny put me blog as his homepage. *big smile*

My Second Online Class!

Well... I decided to sign up for my second online class. My first one was Leah's Fung Roladex class.... but I didn't do it. Have the files saved for the future. This one is through Big Picture Scrapbooking called Baker's Dozen. It seemed interesting and not too pricey. My first assignment: To sign the "Don't be a chicken challenge" pledge. :-P Here is my proof. (the ugly pic above) Now I have to get a few supplies, plus an egg carton.
