My first class was with Michelle Hill, a Garden of Idea. Very cute, lots of goodies! From this point on, whenever I see her name, I am jumping in and taking her classes! We made a cute little 4x4 chipboard album. We used many techniques such as making a butterfly using your flowers!
Next was Purple Cow, Ana Cabrera. She was very funny! Which I love for it being early. Keep me wide awake. The project concept was really cute, but I think we could've done more. Plus we didn't really get letters to put in the mini album. The chipboard album did not make and she said she will mail them to us later on. But I love Ana's energy! We used Purple Cows new free hand cutter, it has a track if you wanted to use it. It is a neat tool... but I'm too anal and need things straight. Plus she showed us how we could make a clear card using the laminate plastic. I love it!
Lunch... pizza... boring!
Next up was Becky's Sketch class. Lots of stuff to use for our project. I love her style of scrapbooking. Clean and simple. She had us sketch the layout... well that was something I have been doing before. Also, someone said that she did not have hand out at Detroit. So I had my notepad out and ready... but she had hand outs for us. Live and learn. :-) But I like her class regardless.
Tim's class was next. We made mini scrapbook pages and turned them into necklaces!!! VERY COOOL! Guess what people will recieve this year for Christmas. :-P Also, guess what I did after class at the bookstore...
Lastly was the Fancy Pants class. The ladies teaching was either tired or just plained annoyed. No energy or enthusiasim. So I just covered my one part of my chipboard album and just sat there. Kind've wished Ana was in there are the moment to wake me up.
Jeanette and I met up and we had dinner at the cafe. We had soup, some comfort food and fries! :-P Must not forget the junk food.
When we got to the crop, they had goodies. I thought they only gave it out on Thursday and that was it. That's what it said on the website. So, of course I did not have my ticket. So I had to wait the next the to pick up my goodie. Stemma played a game of musical scrapbooking. Sort of like musical chairs... but with layouts. It was extremly fun and it woke us up! :-)
